How much does it cost to attend community college in New Jersey?   The average annual in-state two year college tuition in New Jersey was $6,155 for the 2018-2019 academic year. This is a change of $618 from the 2015-2016 average of $5,537 and represents a 11.16% annual increase. The list of New Jersey community colleges below provides school specific cost and value rating. Union County College is the most expensive community school in New Jersey with an in-state tuition of $10,280.
